For Susana, yoga is the adventure of life when you live it from the highest, from the inner place of wisdom, love and power. Always amazed by the potency of the creative energy of the human heart (hrdaya shakti), her mission is to guide students towards their own hearts. Her classes are a place for transformation where she helps students to find their limits, with love and awareness, with structured sequences and precise instructions, and bringing to them her passion for Philosophy, Mythology and the therapeutic possibilities of yoga. She loves to integrate and share all yoga practices: asana, movement, pranayama, mudra, scriptural study, mantra, meditation,..
Yogini, surfer, traveller, student of life. Mexico gifted her with her first contact with yoga, more than 20 years ago, and its magic and numerous awakenings along the years. In USA, besides graduating as PhD in Environmental Sciences, she met some of her most influent teachers (Sianna Sherman, Douglas Brooks, Sally Kempton, among others). There she had the opportunity to dive into the study of yoga and to make this practice the essence of her life. During a long stay in India, she soaked herself in its colourful culture and spirituality. In 2005, she returns to Spain to do what she likes the most: to share the teachings of yoga. Nowadays, she is based in between Spain and Morocco. She teaches intensives, Immersions and Teacher Trainings in Spain and internationally. In love with the Ocean, she finds great connection and freedom through surfing, and she offers retreats that combine these two practices of the soul. She feels really grounded by the simplicity of life in Africa.
She is the first Anusara® Yoga Certified Teacher in Spain (2006), Anusara® Yoga Certified Teacher Trainer, E-RYT 500® by Yoga Alliance, and now active part of the ASYH (Anusara School of Hatha Yoga) Certification Committee as an assessor. She offers as well Yoga Nidra sessions as a powerful tool for inner transformation. She is becoming a Certified Teacher of Rasa Yoga with her teacher Sianna Sherman. She has explored other yoga styles as Ashtanga, Iyengar, Kundalini, Vinyasa, Acroyoga (She is a Certified Acroyoga Teacher although she does not teach anymore). She studied the art of Thai massage, specially inspired by the teachers from the Sunshine Network, like Krishnatakis and Kaline. Her life, her practice and her teaching are deeply inspired by the Tantric Philosophy, a gift that receives from various teachers and lineages, and that she keeps exploring with curiosity. It is in this field where she is now dedicated to her studies of non-dual Tantra and the initiatory practice of Neelakantha Meditation with Professor Paul Muller-Ortega.
It is her desire to bing yoga and its Philosophy to daily life with complementary works as nutrition and life-style and emotional and shadow work, among others. Her commitment with the awakening of the Feminine and her connection with the Goddess took her to study in the Mystery School Urban Priestess with Sianna Sherman and Ashley Turner, and to hold women circles to awaken the energy of sisterhood and empower personal development.
